Dr. Yolanda F. Gutiérrez was born and raised Puerto Rico. From the young age of 6 she knew she wanted to be a doctor. In 2013, she obtained a bachelor’s degree with double Cum Laude concentration in Physical Education and Physical Rehabilitation for children with special needs. With the aim of continuing studies in Physical Therapy, but at the age of 19 while studying, she was injured in a work accident for which she was suffering from pain. Given this, she dealt with various specialists, including physicians and physical therapists. It was not until she began to be treated with a doctor in Chiropractic that her backaches and numbness in hands were healed.
Her chiropractor taught her the importance of healing the cause of the problem and not the symptoms. This inspired her so much that she decided to study chiropractic. In 2017 she completed his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. In her first year she practiced in Savannah, Georgia. There she could perceive the need presented by the Hispanic population by not having services in their own language. It is for this reason that when the opportunity presented to be part of Clínica Pastor, she accepted it with great enthusiasm. Today, Yolanda works as a chiropractor at the Pastor Clinic in Acworth, Georgia. Where she helps Hispanic patients improve their quality of life by identifying the cause of problems and treating them.
